Kicking Blastoma Butt...

A child, so innocent comes into the world. She brightens the lives of so many. She causes a major life change for the best for her parents. This is what they've been praying for. It has been a movement only forward since having this angel. And now we learn she has cancer. 20 months old and battling cancer. It isn't fair!  My little niece, so precious and a wonderful gift to our family. Please raise her up in prayer as we fight this battle together.

Bre'niyah will be back and forth to Children's Hospital in New Orleans, as she has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Neuroblastoma.  The tumor is a softball sized mass sitting on her kidney and wrapped around a major artery that supplies blood flow to her legs.  She has already started chemotherapy, will need radiation, stem cell therapy, bone marrow transplant, and blood transfusions.  She will be battling this cancer for the next year of her life.

Brittany (Bre'niyah's mother) has had to leave her job to tend to Bre during this ordeal, as she is constantly back and forth to the hospital with week long admits.  Auguster (Bre'niyah's father) has just started his job and does not qualify for benefits just yet, so taking off work is not an option at this time.  The family is holding strong, but financing are dwindling quickly.  Expenses for vehicle maintenance is very much needed to get back and forth to Children's Hospital in New Orleans.  Rent, utilities, car note and insurance are all due, and funds are short.  One parent working and one parent tending to medical doesn't go far when you are a low-income family with little to no family support.  We are fighting strong, Bre'niyah is fighting strong, and we will win with your support, prayers and positive vibes!!

Dear Lord, please wrap your hands around this innocent child. My sister has been a rock for her so far, and I am so proud of her for all she has been through and continues to push through.
Please pray for our family and Bre'niyah!

With sincere appreciation for all that you do,
Nicki Breaux
